Still working for me (v5.0.96.3; latest release).
-
Many thanks Brenton, now on Wikimedia Commons [1] and the English Wikipedia article [2]. [1] https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Zotero_pronunciation_-_By_Brenton_Wiernik_-_Licensed_CC0.flac [2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zotero
-
"the pronunciation could be transcribed using the International Phonetic Alphabet " Thank you; please do so. Meanwhile, an audio file is still desirable, for people who don't know what the IPA is or how to read it.
-
Interesting, thank you - but it can't be used on Wikipedia, because there's no (evidence of an) open licence. We do need an original file uploaded under such a licence, by its creator.

Though this discussion is very old, I just wanted to note for the record that the British Library/ BNA have just made available 1 million PD newspaper page scans as free-to-read (signup required), with more to follow in coming years: https://blogs.…

I've just learned that this was done [1], and went live in June [2]. Many thanks to @zuphilip for his work on this. I've updated the documentation on Wikidata [3]. [1] https://github.com/zotero/translators/pull/2339 [2] https://github.com/zotero/…

@zuphilip _nudge_

What I was originally reporting was that the staement: "On [1] is the text 'You can find a full, automatically generated list of all Zotero translators here.', with 'here' linking to [2]." was false; and that is, at the time of writing, still the …

I have noticed that this problem is occurring again; there are debug logs at D78255540 and D1692574964 respectively. On this occasion, my default export preference was set to Wikipedia format with an exception for https://quickstatements.toolforge…
-
I've done that; and the IDs are, respectively: D1046940028 D1421674386 However in this case, the ouput pasted in Wikipedia citation format.

Yes; v 5.0.60 (I auto-update) under Firefox 70.0.1
-
This is again not working for me, in Zotero 5.0.77. I have my default output set to "Wikidata" format, and a site-specific setting for "Wikipedia.org", to use Wikipedia citation template format. I have just dragged a source into Wikipedia, and got…
-
Still showing errors, the latest of which has today's date (2019-09-16).
-
Further to HLHJ's post; see: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Zotero (disclosure: I'm that page's main author)
-
This persists, in Zotero 5.0.74 under Firefox 69.0
-
I would find this useful. Two additional points: * Anyone may access three entries, as part of a free trial. * Established Wikipedia editors may, from time to time, apply for a free account [1]. As you may know, Wikipedia uses Zotero translators …
-
Apologies; this completely slipped my mind. It's working OK, now. But yes, I had tried several restarts, and resets of the rules, and even experienced the problem in different 5.0.N versions.
-
Update: With thanks to Philipp Zumstein (@zuphilip), who coded it, a Genome translator is now live. It creates two records: one for the listing, the other for the programme itself.
-
It's no longer working for me :-( My default is to export as "Wikidata QuickStatements", and I have a domain-specific setting for "wikipedia.org" to use "Wikipedia Citation templates". The latter fails, and exports in the default
-
Working nicely, thank you - I'm impressed that it picked up my settings from v4.
-
That's great news! Thank you.
-
Yes, it looks like I can use Zutilo as a work-around, thank you. However it presents too high a barrier to entry for some of the people I work with.
-
Thank you, dstillman.
-
[my last post was made before I saw Adam's last post] I have *personally* taught more than 15 people to use this feature. The number of people in audiences for events where I have described its use is well more than ten times that. I have person…

It take five clicks to change export format; and five to switch back again. The loss of the per-site functionality could perhaps be mitigated by a toggle-switch on Zotero's own tool bar
-
I would have expected it to mention such a /significant/ change; especially the removal of functionality.
-
So what is, for me, one of the most useful aspects of Zotero has been removed *and its not even mentioned in the change log*?!?
-
If not a separate icon, a right-click option, like the new import options, would suffice.
-
Nice work @zuphilip - thank you.
-
Adam: Belatedly, yes, please.
