Can you please describe the exact steps you follow to sync, or even better share a screen recording? The debug log you sent, shows the sync to be explicitly cancelled by a user action, e.g. putting the app in the background.

Can you please provide some more info. What do you mean by switching tabs between apps? Other apps? Or multiple Zotero windows? Can you reproduce this issue? Are you using an external keyboard by any change?
