hi there, so i'm noticing that it's now possible to grab items (little folder or icon appears in address bar) that aren't OpenURL types via the online Zotero library (example: https://www.zotero.org/groups/new_orleans_studies_uno/items/collectionKe…

but i did just note that a drag and drop over a tag did take for several items, i just had to refresh by going away from the item and coming back. so i guess i probably just have some kind of UI issue.
-
oh, duh, thanks for the restarting Firefox thought. just tried on two different tags, same issue.
-
bp_216, yes thanks -- please post it in the translators forum. @beeker, if you could move your toronto/washington post problems over there as well, that would be great..
-
Ah, gotcha. User error! I will go flagellate myself with a wet noodle...

Hi morisimo, I just installed the SEASR add-on myself, and didn't have any problems. Hmm. My version of Zotero is the latest 1.0.9; I'm not sure if that makes a difference... perhaps try to reinstall both again?

Hi Dan, Tried as well -- selected all my stuff, right clicked and selected "Export..." and got the error -- here's my Report ID: 825943535 Incidentally, also tried exporting just one item: a WebPage with one attachment, and I get a Progress pop-up …

Hi mrnlegato, Thanks for the input. Could you post the 2nd part of your message to the troubleshooting (http://forums.zotero.org/3/) or translators (http://forums.zotero.org/6/) forum? I just checked, and it worked for me, so it may need some debu…

Hi Chris (again), Sorry -- I just realized that your link *was* in fact to the article level (I couldn't get your link to begin with since PLoS was doing some maintenance). In any case, a) yes we support PLoS and b) yes, I'm having the same issue a…

Hi mmcdowall, I just saved the article you pointed to. Could you give it a go again?
-
Hi Chris, Yes, the site is supported. Are you going all the way down to the article level? There should be a little page icon...
-
Hi mauriciobejamin, Zotero doesn't support the ITESO library yet, so that is why you could not "save" your item. (Although you can take a snapshot of it.)
-
Hi dgomez, I'm assuming you don't mean a snapshot of the page, but capturing metadata from the site? Zotero doesn't support the National Library of Spain yet, but your site has been added to the list of requests. Thanks!
-
Hi mikeg, We don't support OMIM, but we do support PubMed, and the short answer is that this is why the icon appears for you, but won't save. We're looking into removing the icon until OMIM is supported. Thanks for the message.
-
HI ajasja, I was able to save the link. Are you still having this problem?
-
Hi ajasja, Following your link, I noticed that the page actually lists NCBI books, not PubMed content. While we support PubMed, we don't do NCBI books. Taking a quick look at the NCBI books page you linked to, though, it looks like that there isn'…

Thanks for the messages; we are looking into this problem -- our GeoRef doesn't run off of EBSCOhost but CSA Illumina, and the EBSCOhost portals to which we do have access are running correctly.
-
hi zach, thanks for your suggestion. we're about to launch some new documentation on this so that, at least, other users encountering your problem can know more easily what they have to do. again, thanks for the helpful feedback. -connie

groovy, thanks for the tips!

hi bdarcus, thanks for the response. first thought after my posting, on the ride home: well, actually, if i'm up to 400 pages, then I'd be using a bibliography list, so it wouldn't be a problem really for this case, but then, second thought:…

Yes, I think it's quite important, because the longer the document is, the more difficult it becomes for a user to sift through for herself all instances of edited volumes (example: 500 pages of text). And then, if she ends up finding a typo or so…

Found it: Chicago 15th, section 17.70

Oops, I forgot to add: this was Chicago Note w/Bib. But I changed to Chicago Note w/out Bib, and have the same problem. I'm guessing that the first reference to a work looks at the "Pages" in the Reference Information, rather than the page I'm spe…

Dear Dan, Thanks very much. It's been a while since I've done things like command line zips and unzips, so I appreciate the help. I do have the dev XPI on Netscape, but am only using issued builds for my Firefox because it has all my important s…

Thanks!

Um, ok. I see the conversation above, and that a ticket has been created for future development, but I got lost in the data stream. Can you tell me what I should do for now in the following case: Marilynne Robinson is the author of an introduction…

There are many positives of having it sync with the palm but one i love: for library and archive research: entering/typing (if you have the portable keyboard) entries on the fly, and also: if you grab call numbers for library material through the i…

-- another follow up: installed zotero on a different mac: MacBook Pro, OSX 10.4.10, Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20070713 Firefox/2.0.0.5 tried to import the problem reference, still couldn't; upgraded to…

Dear Dan, Thanks for the follow-up -- I just wanted to make sure, so I double-checked, and I was able to import oss2.bib in its entirety (previous attempt was the piecemeal one) but *only when I cut the Francis Hunt and Paul Johnson ref*.
