Ok, I extracted all pdfs from this multitude of folders and a quick glance revealed that I seem to have all of them on my NAS already. There was some double saving going on on Zotero or on Citavi, ok.

Minimising the column does not work as months with two digits extend the line to the right which eliminates the year's last digit.

...however, as I have realised only now, some footnotes created by Zotero now appear in 'standard' font size and type and not in 'footnote' size and type. Those added anew appear in the smaller font size characteristic of MS Word's Normal.dot

Ok, I tried to set it all to a third citation style and then change it back to one of the two original styles but that didn't help. Some citations are still in footnotes and other are still inline.

With the APA 6th version I have found that it references publications with mulitple authors in the text as: Lee, Dickinson, & Ashby, 1999, p. 228. I think the & should not be trailed by a comma.

Hi, adding to this, the website quoting is awkward. I assume it is supposed to indicate sth like "date visited" or "Zugriff am" when citing but it only gives the year.
