Sync not working

Sync works fine on my other two computers, but not this one. I'm getting a continuous "getting updated data from sync server" message. I've been trying off and on for quite a while and have tried reinstalling/restarting/etc. Nothing works. Firefox 3.6.10, Win XP. Thanks for any help.

You have a queued download from 6 minutes ago. Let it finish. Don't restart, or you'll lose your place in the queue.

I'm back at this computer and the sync has been running for six days. No change.

Syncs can't run for days. Restart Firefox. And make sure you're using 2.0.8.
