Sync not working

Sync works fine on my other two computers, but not this one. I'm getting a continuous "getting updated data from sync server" message. I've been trying off and on for quite a while and have tried reinstalling/restarting/etc. Nothing works. Firefox 3.6.10, Win XP. Thanks for any help.
