Citation saving does not work with zotero connector (firefox)

Hi,

The zotero connector does not work since I upgraded Zotero desktop application. When saving citations, nothing happens regardless of the website I am trying to download from. The save to zotero button is the right one and the name of the library is correct.

I followed the recommandation (https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues), including reinstalling Zotero application and Zotero connector wth no success.

For example, I tried to save this citation: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-026-57851-1 and the debug ID is : D895697967
It says "Save to Zotero" and then there is an error message saying to check for solutions.

Submit a Debug ID from Zotero, not the Zotero connector. Running Zotero in Troubleshooting Mode (Help -> Restart in Troubleshooting Mode) might help.

If you check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero settings, does it pass?

Can you provide a screenshot of the files (zotero.sqlite et al.) at the root of your Zotero data directory?

Also, you've moved your data directory to a custom location. Is this folder cloud-synced?

When I check for integrity, nothing happens, the "check database integrity" remains gray like it's still running. Should I find an output in specific folder?

The main database is not synchronized, but a I do have a group library synchronized online (but not stored locally).

The javascript gives me a syntaxerror which I do not locate in the script:
SyntaxError: expected expression, got '}'

The DB integrity check could take a while for a 772 MB database.

Can you email us logs/upgrade.log from that folder?

OK, please try the Zotero beta, which should fix this.

(For very large databases, the database upgrade for Zotero 10 could fail and then leave the database in an inconsistent state.)
