Citation saving does not work with zotero connector (firefox)
Hi,
The zotero connector does not work since I upgraded Zotero desktop application. When saving citations, nothing happens regardless of the website I am trying to download from. The save to zotero button is the right one and the name of the library is correct.
I followed the recommandation (https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues), including reinstalling Zotero application and Zotero connector wth no success.
For example, I tried to save this citation: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-026-57851-1 and the debug ID is : D895697967
It says "Save to Zotero" and then there is an error message saying to check for solutions.
Thank you,
Best

Upgrade Storage
I tried running in troubleshooting mode, but it did not solve the issue.
Can you provide a screenshot of the files (zotero.sqlite et al.) at the root of your Zotero data directory?
var out = [];
var q = "SELECT version FROM version WHERE schema=?";
out.push('userdata: ' + await Zotero.DB.valueQueryAsync(q, ['userdata']));
out.push('compatibility: ' + await Zotero.DB.valueQueryAsync(q, ['compatibility']));
q = "SELECT value FROM settings WHERE setting='client' AND key='lastVersion'";
out.push('lastVersion: ' + await Zotero.DB.valueQueryAsync(q));
var cols = [
['itemDataValues', 'valueNormalized'],
['tags', 'nameNormalized'],
['creators', 'lastNameNormalized'],
['itemAnnotations', 'textNormalized'],
['itemAnnotations', 'commentNormalized'],
['savedSearchConditions', 'required'],
['items', 'clientVersion']
];
for (var i = 0; i < cols.length; i++) {
var exists = await Zotero.DB.columnExists(cols[i][0], cols[i][1]);
out.push(cols[i][0] + '.' + cols[i][1] + ': ' + exists);
}
out.push('integrity: ' + await Zotero.DB.valueQueryAsync("PRAGMA integrity_check(1)"));
out.push('vacuum.lastTime: ' + Zotero.Prefs.get('vacuum.lastTime'));
return out.join('\n');
The screenshot is:

The main database is not synchronized, but a I do have a group library synchronized online (but not stored locally).
The javascript gives me a syntaxerror which I do not locate in the script:
SyntaxError: expected expression, got '}'
Can you email us logs/upgrade.log from that folder?

(For very large databases, the database upgrade for Zotero 10 could fail and then leave the database in an inconsistent state.)
