Upgrade StorageZotero + Word: second citation insert fails with "load item list error" and Zotero shows no items
'm using Zotero with Word. When I insert a citation for the first time, everything works fine. However, when I try to insert a second citation, I get an error saying "failed to load item list" (or similar), and the Zotero application window suddenly shows no items at all — my library appears empty.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? What could be causing it, and how can I fix it?

Word version: Microsoft 365
OS: Windows 11

dstillman Zotero Teamedited 11 days agoRestart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it (likely Easier Citation) and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.

dstillman Zotero TeamThis should no longer break in Zotero 10.0.2 as long as you only have one collection selected, but Easier Citation should still be updated (and it needs to stop declaring that it's compatible with future versions of Zotero that don't even exist yet or it will be blocked in an upcoming version).
