  • Thanks a lot! Once again an astonishing release. You still find ways to improve this excellent application. Large features like undo and text reflow but also fine details like the menu integration into the window frame on Linux.
  • the reading mode is literally priceless, thanks a lot
  • Thanks! Great seeing the new advanced search.
  • Loving the new advanced search as well! Thanks for all the thoughtful work that goes into these updates. The split view in reading mode is a godsend for dealing with long texts with lots of endnotes.
  • Big thank you to the Zotero team, great progress!

I particularly like the batch editing ability.
  • Nice work! Loved every feature and improvement, from Advanced search to Undo and redo and the amazing PDF reader which even best PDF readers don't give such fluidity for reading experience! Keep up the great work, and I look forward to Zotero 11, I'm sure you have a lot on your mind to add!
  • I even wrote a blog in my native language on this release. Read more below:

  • Batch editing is awesome—thanks!
  • This looks like an amazing release. Great work!

The Reading Mode for PDFs seems like it would be such a big win for smaller screen devices. Will it be coming to iOS/iPadOS in upcoming releases?
  • A big thank you to the developers for this release! I enjoy the new search and the batch editing features. Also the reduced disk-space usage is a very welcome addition.
  • This update is incredible. Both batch editing and reading mode are incredible, and undo is such an important tool for me.

On the blog, the developers asked "If a document doesn’t look right in Reading Mode — missing text, mangled tables, etc. — let us know in the forums". Where should that be? and do missing figures count?

Again a huge thanks to the developers for this great update.

Thank you, Zotero team! Like a fine wine, Zotero just keeps getting better with age.
  • Wow, this is amazing!! Fantastic. We have been waiting for a looooong time for batch editing, and it is so great to see it implemented. And implemented very well. Thank you!
  • Is Zotero 10 compatible with macOS 12.7.6?

@jsafcLWang: The app itself is. The current, improved version of the Zotero Connector for Safari requires macOS 13 or later, but the old Safari extension is also bundled and will continue to work on macOS 12.

  • Great update. Love the batch editing. I was wondering though if it might be possible to add find/replace to batch editing. E.g. I would love to be able to select all books and change full stops to periods in all titles. Anything like this on the horizon?

I updated and now Translate for Zotero is disabled. This feature is obviously very useful. Will this or similar features become available in due course?
  • Translate for Zotero (assuming you mean https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-pdf-translate/releases/tag/v2.4.7 ) is compatible with Zotero 10. You may need to update manually if you were somehow on a very old version.
  • Thank you, adamsmith, that worked perfectly!
