feature request: first class read/unread for papers
I currently utilise a duplicate structure for papers.
```
Read
| - Theatre
| - Computer Science
| - History
Unread
| - Theatre
| - Computer Science
| - History
```
and so on.
when I'm done reading a paper I move it from the structure in "unread" to the structure in "read".
I know I could use 'tags' for this in theory but
(a) tags a little too easy to remove/move by accident but
(b) a little to annoying to add when I'm done. Requires going to the sidebar and adding and using the autofill
(c) can't be added/removed in bulk (right click)
(d) it makes filtering more confusing. For example if I use tags for other tasks, then I always need to double check which tags are enabled/disabled
(e) other little things
I've tried this for a while and ended up going back to my split view.
what I'd really like is something nearly identical to 'feeds' view of read/unread. Bold = unread. Easily accessible button to mark read/unread along with a clear first-class button to filter to only read/unread.

to me it feels like this is more than just a simple tag status. For example, I might even imagine this text would be updated to show number 'read' or 'unread' and so on.

Thank you!
The only thing missing is a quick and easy well (preferably one or two clicks) to filter the 'current view' to one of the existing statuses (read, to read, etc.). I'm not even sure I can do so with advanced search. That said, I'll file this as a feature request for the plugin.

I'm a bit nervous about building a workflow on top of multiple plugins — especially when those plugins must interoperate, but I'll check it out for now.
thanks!
You do not depend on Weavero to build your read status data.
Your other options from Zotero:
- Sort by the Read Status column and go to the status by typing its first letters (find-as-you-type)
- In the Quick Search option "All Fields & Tags", search for the Status Name, for example "To Read"
- With the Advanced Search, you can search for the Status Name in the Extra field:

If the quick filter option from Weavero works for you, it could also be proposed to the Reading List plugin in a simpler form, to avoid using multiple plugins.
