feature request: first class read/unread for papers

edited yesterday at 6:43pm
I currently utilise a duplicate structure for papers.
```
Read
| - Theatre
| - Computer Science
| - History
Unread
| - Theatre
| - Computer Science
| - History
```

and so on.

when I'm done reading a paper I move it from the structure in "unread" to the structure in "read".

I know I could use 'tags' for this in theory but
(a) tags a little too easy to remove/move by accident but
(b) a little to annoying to add when I'm done. Requires going to the sidebar and adding and using the autofill
(c) can't be added/removed in bulk (right click)
(d) it makes filtering more confusing. For example if I use tags for other tasks, then I always need to double check which tags are enabled/disabled
(e) other little things

I've tried this for a while and ended up going back to my split view.

what I'd really like is something nearly identical to 'feeds' view of read/unread. Bold = unread. Easily accessible button to mark read/unread along with a clear first-class button to filter to only read/unread.

to me it feels like this is more than just a simple tag status. For example, I might even imagine this text would be updated to show number 'read' or 'unread' and so on.
