Copy/Paste Struggles with Zotero 9

Just started with the new update today and I am finding that I can no longer do a simple copy paste of text from the Zotero linked PDF to my excel spreadsheet. I can still create bibliography and citations and create notes and copy paste from notes but I can no longer copy/paste directly out of the reading. Anyone else finding this? Anyone have a fix?

    From a specific PDF or any PDF?

    On Linux/X11 I'm seeing the following behavior with Zotero 9:

    PDF Select only → Neither paste buffer is altered
    Incorrect: The middle-click buffer should be altered (but not the Ctrl-V buffer)

    PDF Select then Ctrl+C → Middle-click buffer unaltered, Ctrl-V buffer altered
    Correct (though middle-click buffer should have been altered when selection was made)

    HTML Select only → Either middle-click or Ctrl+V in other application pastes selected text.
    Incorrect: Only the middle-click buffer should be populated, the Ctrl+V buffer should not be altered

    HTML Select then Ctrl+C → Ctrl-V buffer altered (middle-click buffer was already altered when the selection was made)
