Portuguese (PT) language has guillemets (« ») instead of double quotation marks (" ")

I've noticed that when zotero language is set to portuguese (portugal) the direct quotes format assumes guillemets (« ») instead of double quotation marks (" ").

My way of getting around this was to set the language as portuguese (brazil)

Are you talking about the interface of Zotero or citations you create with a citation style in a given document?

Yes I'm talking about the citations that you create with a citation style in a given document and also the annotations that you drag from a document to your zotero notes.
