iOS Debug Log: D1183322049

When I open the iPad app (version 2.0.4 build 417)and scroll through certain pdfs, Zotero crashes and closes. It occurs at the same page in the documents this happens for each time, so is very replicable.

And example is the pdf obtained from http://arxiv.org/abs/2209.13609

This happens for files downloaded recently and years ago, that previously stayed open fine.

    Hi, I downloaded the PDF from the link, I can scroll through it just fine, didn't crash. Can you provide a Crash ID? It should pop up after you re-launch the app after crash. You provided a Debug ID, which has no information about the crash. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video, it's unusual you're not getting the popup with crash id.

    Here are a few more suggestions:
    - Did the crashing happen from beginning since you downloaded the attachment? Or did it start happening after you worked with the attachment for a while?
    - Do you have any annotations on that document? Does it maybe crash on the same page as where the annotation is?
    - When you open the document and wait for a while without scrolling, does it crash too? Or only when you scroll to a specific page? What if you tried using the page scrubber on bottom to jump to the end for example?

    Since you're not getting the popup, could you please manually extract the crash from your device? Can you navigate to Settings app and then Privacy & Security -> Analytics & Improvements -> Analytics Data. In Analytics Data you can just search for Zotero and send us a few entries (.ips files) with most recent dates. Thank you!
