When i insert a citation into libre office, it is highlighted in dark grey.

If you want to move on the cursor after inserting the citation it seems to drag the highlighting along with it so as to extend the citation 'field'.

at the moment, i have to start a new paragraph, place a character in the new para, then backspace the character to park it after the citation field. then i can start writing after the citation without the dark grey field consuming all.

is there any way to stop this? image below
