Feature Request: Close All

Hi,

As a user opens more documents using the built-in PDF reader, closing them all becomes cumbersome. It'd be great to borrow from browsers and have a "Close all docs" or even better, "close all *other* docs". On the Mac, this would be Cmd-Option-W, for example.

Best,
Carlos
  • Carlos - if you right click on a PDF tab, there is a "Close Other Tabs" option. As a serial too-many-tabs offender myself, this came in very handy when I discovered it! :-)
  • Hi @aaronbcowan,

    Great, thanks, **very useful**.

However, if a developer is reading this, this should be a menu item! A right click on a tab isn't very discoverable!

  • Note that a right-click on a tab is what all major browsers do. These options are context-specific to individual tabs, so the tab context menu is appropriate. (Chrome additionally adds an entire Tab menu at the top, but it has all sorts of other options to put in there.)
  • Hi @dstillman, you're correct, I guess I've been spoiled by Safari on the mac, which has Cmd-Option-W shortcut and menu item that makes this more discoverable...
