PDF files do not sync across devices

Hello,

I am not seeing my PDF files across devices. I can see an entry in my Library, but the pdf icon is greyed out. When I click on it, I get an error saying:

The attached file could not be found at the following path:

<my file system>/Zotero/storage/L2VBNLTS/Qadri - 2021 - Platform workers as infrastructures of global tech.pdf

It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero, or, if the file was added on another computer, it may not yet have been synced to or from zotero.org.

Along with the error above, I am given an option to "locate" the file. When I click the "locate" button, an empty folder opens up. The empty folder has is named according to an indexing system (I guess?).

  • Can you please take a look again? The new report ID is: D1429665558

    Steps I took:
    1. Enable debug output logging
    2. Perform Reset File Sync History
    3. Force a sync using the sync button on top right corner
    4. Open the file that is available locally but not online.

    I have Zotero on three devices, but only one device is causing sync problems.

  • File sync is not enabled for My Library
    From the page:
    If Device A is a computer, check that file syncing is enabled in the Sync pane of the preferences
