style error: American Phytopathological Society

help! for the APS journals Plant Disease and Phytopathology:

1. citations should be numbered and in parentheses

2. bibliography should be numbered alphabetically

    Hey that's easy!

    Go here:
    http://gist.github.com/189685

    Download the style using the "raw" link at top right, then install by dragging into any Firefox window.
    Please let us know if there are further problems (the style guide isn't very clear...)

    If it's all good, we'll get the one at the repository updated.
    (and add the other dependent style too)

    thanks so much for your help... i'm glad it's easy for someone!

    it's almost there. the bibliography needs:

    1. numbering w/ "1."
    2. a hanging indent like Nature Journal

    i somehow managed to modify your style to fix these issue on my computer but you should modify it before updating the repository. hopefully, these will be the last mistakes i find.

    I really meant that it's easy compared with the arcane rules that (author-date) styles require to work (disambiguation)
    Sounds like it's easy enough for you to modify the style a bit too!

    I've edited the git version above - (I assume I made the same changes that you have!)

    If you could check the formatting in the bibliography, "et-al" rules and stuff, that would be great.
    When you're happy, I'll try to get it sent up to the repository (of if I fail miserably I'm sure adamsmith will help out!)

    OK, the updated style and the dependent styels are now on the new csl 1.0 repository at https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles and will eventually move to citationstyles.org
