Citation Style help - HortScience
Hi,
I'm new to all of this and have recently figured out how to do all the basics. I got the HortScience Citation Style from the repository and have used it successfully but noticed the citation style in the text doesn't use a comma between the author and date. I believe it is supposed to have a comma.
From their Style guide:
ASHS style for listing literature citations is the Harvard system, with the last
name(s) of the author(s) and the year of the publication cited in the text.
Example: Previous studies made use of a chloral hydrate-acid fuchsin staining system that requires several days to complete (Latham and Rushing, 1988; Yates et al., 1996).
It is a little confusing as it doesn't mention a comma, but it is clearly used in the examples.
Is there a way to fix this? I know there is a way to manually edit it but I don't know how. I think I have to download the style somehow first? That is where I got stuck...
Thanks!
Emily

Just curious, what else did you fix? And also - it seems like if I still go back and use the original HortScience style- it has fixed it too? Did you fix that too or am I not refreshing correctly?
The PR is not merged, so the ASHS style nor the dependent styles (HortScience just points to the main style) will have been updated.
