Zotero Beta could benefit from from tab bookmarks and/or manager or left justifying PDF viewer

Zotero Beta could benefit from from tabs displaying PDFs being able to be bookmarked or managed similar to a web browser. When more 20 PDFs are open-- which can be the case when writing a research paper, the PDF viewing field is pushed so much to the right that it is cut off. The simplest fix would be to left justify the PDF view, but having the ability to bookmark tabs or even better manage them (options like multi-rows) would be helpful.

This is a known issue and will be fixed.

How about a function that creates a collection from open/selected tabs. It would create a new collection containing the parent items. This would be similar to the "Bookmark all tabs" function in a browser (Ctrl+Shift+D).

There could also be a related option in the collection context menu for opening all items in tabs, but perhaps there should be some limit on the number of items.
  • Hi qqbb,
The idea of creating a collection from open tabs is a good one.
