clicking in the browser?
If you are saving data from a PubMed search results page, it will offer you a list to click so you can choose which of the results to save into Zotero. Is that what you mean by pocket?
Or do you mean Zotero offers to save your results to a collection (as it should) but it somehow stalls?
Or do you mean when you try to save it cannot find an open-source PDF to attach? Pubmed does not store PDFs, but Zotero tries to download them for you from open-access sources. If there is no such source, no PDF will be downloaded, but you should still have the paper's bibliographic data saved into your Zotero database. Are you not seeing that?
And finally, if you are using Firefox, any chance you may be clicking on the Pocket button near the search bar rather than the Zotero button?
Do tell us what browser you are using. You may need to look closely to find the Zotero icon. You may need to reinstall the browser plugin. Are you using Safari browser?
Are you able to import articles from other databases or from publisher websites?
Try to import the journal article from the following database link:
https://www.safetylit.org/citations/index.php?fuseaction=citations.viewdetails&citationIds[]=citjournalarticle_357735_38
Try to import this article from the Sage publisher website:
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.2190/N6GQ-FCGM-T56X-QY6L
If that doesn't work there is something wrong with Zotero's integration with your browser. We can help with that.
There are several different mechanisms that can import PubMed records to Zotero.
A single item can be imported using the article-icon in your browser to the right of the url address bar (I can give you better directions if you reply with the browser you are using).
Multiple items can be imported (Set your PubMed to display only 10 or 20 items at most) by clicking on the Zotero folder icon that will bring a Zotero selection list of all the PubMed records on the page. You can select the items to import by ticking the boxes of the items you desire.
If you want to import more than 10 or 20 items that you have selected on several pages of PubMed records there is a way to do that. Read the instructions I listed on this recent thread:
