Error msg - Cannot connect Word with Zotero for referencing

I updated to the latest Zotero (5.0.97) and Word (16.52) and now I cannot connect Word - Zotero on Mac Mini (M1), getting a connection error message and so have no access to citations for my Uni submissions! I have submitted a report ID 1271526695.

Error message - "Zotero integration error - Zotero experienced an error updating your document. Would you like to view troubleshooting instructions?"

Please can anyone help? Thanks.

    I have tried disabling and re-enabling the Zotero Word for Mac integration add-on, and still get the error msg

    What version of Big Sur is this?

    Big Sur 11.5.2. I actually tried disabling the word plugin and reinstalled it, that didnt work, then I closed all programs, restarted the PC, for some reason, now working.
