Zotero is not responding to importing a RIS file.
My Zotero Standalone is 5.093, the latest edition. Does not import any records from a RIS file.

Can you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector (not Zotero) for the Connector RIS issue?
We're happy to help you, but we can only do so if you read the instructions I've linked to repeatedly and provide the information I asked for.
Debug ID: D109687328. I received this when I tried to import a downloaded RIS file into Zotero Standalone.
If you still get an error after that, we'd want to see another Debug ID for trying to import the RIS file into the app.
