Problems with accented author names in synchronizing?

Poor Michael Bérubé. I correct and correct his last name in his entries in my library, and after synchronizing from one machine to zotero.org, and then from zotero.org to another machine, it inevitably reappears as "BErubE". I've tried fixing it and then doing a restore to overwrite my local information to the server, but no dice -- the server apparently does not like the diacriticals. If I'm missing something about how to fix this, I'd love to hear it!
  • This should now be fixed. (It wasn't a general problem with syncing diacriticals, but rather a problem with comparing new names against existing ones.) If you edit the name (or, if it's already correct locally, toggle the single/double field mode back and forth to simulate an edit) and sync, it should save correctly on the server and sync the correct name to the other machine. Thanks for reporting this.
  • Wow, that's service. And on a Saturday, no less! Many thanks. --KF
