Word could not communicate with Zotero

    I couldn't generate a 'Report ID'. The exact error message I received was "Word could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure that Zotero is open and try again."
    I'm using Zotero version 5.0.84 and Word version 16.35.

    There are five buttons on the Zotero tab in Word: 1) Add/edit citation, 2) Add/edit bibliography, 3) Document preferences, 4) Refresh and 5) Unlink citations.
    The same error message pops up when I press any of the five buttons.
    And yes, my Zotero is open.

    Why can’t you generate a Report ID?
