    The "edn" for the edition I can reproduce and fix.
    The "ed." supposedly stands for the editor. That should already be handled correctly with zh-CN. Are you by any chance using a different region? HK or something?

    I tried, the problem is still there. observed one difference - change from edn to ed, see below

    So, I don't read/speak Chinese, so you need to help me here. While I can figure out a citation in Portuguese, a language like Chinese is a different thing.
    Also, please answer my question from above and try this in a new document.

    If the problem is that the style contains elements in English, that'd how it was written and since we don't have access to a specific styleguide, we can't do much about that. If you want a fully Chinese style, use e.g. Chicago Manual of Style of one of the styles labelled as Chinese.

    @herahowoo Are you wanting "ed." to show as something like "編集者" or "編," and wanting "edn." to show as something like "版" (or to be empty, since you already have the label in 初版)?

    Also, in your document, do you cite English sources? If so, do you want them to show as "ed." and "edn."?

    re: ed. I prefer to have "編" after the name of the editor.

    I'm afraid having editor and edition terms conform to the language of the work isn't possible with standard Zotero styles. (It's possible to rely on some custom features to build styles that do this, but that's a bit more advanced)
