Zotero Desktop, Zotero Connector for Firefox under Linux Mint

The installation and first use prompted me to install both - first the desktop and the connector. I tried both and they synced, but I would like to keep the connector alone. Should I remove the desktop?

Since you say your focus is on writing (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/75315/using-zotero-with-focus-on-writing-a-paper#latest) you will definitely need the Desktop version. The connector alone doesn't let you insert references etc.

Ahh, OK, I understand.

Is it possible to place the Zotero data/library on a flash drive and simply install the desktop on the several computers I have here?
