How do I save Facebook pages?

I have previously used Zotero to save Facebook pages for research. It has been the best way to capture e.g. a newspaper's Facebook site at a given moment in time. Now, however, Zotero only seems to save a link to the Facebook page, which means I cannot save the page as it appears right now. There is no child item. For other web pages, the child item is saved and works. Is there anything with Facebook in particular that makes it impossible to save?

    What do you see when you hover over the Save to Zotero button on one such page?

    It says either "Save to Zotero (Embedded Metadata)", or "Save to Zotero (Web Page with Snapshot)". It seems random which one, it changes - both for Facebook and other web pages. If I get the "snapshot" version, I might or might not be lucky and save a child item, but I also get an error message.
