Cursor jumping to start of Note

Love Zotero, but am consistently running into the following issue:

Whenever I type notes--which I do extensively whenever reading papers--my cursor will frequently jump to the first line of the text. Sometimes this is accompanied by the disappearance of the most recent sentence or so that I've written. This will happen every time I write a note. In case it's relevant, I'm on a Dell XPS 15.

This issue was documented for 5.0 beta (here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/63600/5-0-beta-note-writing-cursor-jumps-to-beginning-of-note-last-changes-lost), but I'm running into the same thing in 5.0.22.

Any solutions out there?
  • Can you provide a Debug ID that shows this happening?
  • Thanks, dstillman! Sorry it took a bit to get back.

I'm unable to capture any trace of the errors by going to Help > Report Errors (though I've pasted the report I *do* get below, in case it's helpful).

    Any other suggestions? Much appreciated!

  • debug IDs are different from error reports. Dan's post includes a link to instructions:
