"Zotero is updating your document" in Google Docs

    I am having the problem where I am trying to use the connector for the first time. I'm able to add items to my library. But now I am in a Google Doc. After trying to authenticate my identity, the message "Zotero is updating your document, please wait..." has continued for five minutes with no progress. I had already closed and restarted my browser.

    The citation dialog may just be appearing behind your other windows — cycle through your Zotero windows to see if that's the case. If you're sure it's not that, disable all your other browser extensions, reload Google Docs, and try again.

    If you're still having trouble, provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading Google Docs and trying to use the plugin.
