bioRxiv and medRxiv not importing properply since plugin update
Dear Zotero team,
we are having problems incorporating pre-prints from the different pre-print depositories.
Previously the papers were assigned as 'journal articles', and the publisher as bioRxiv. Now they are reports with no publication entity, thus not included in the bibliography. below examples of a random article, imported last year, and today:
New:
Schütz D, Rode S, Read C, Müller JA, Glocker B, Sparrer K, Fackler O, Walther P, Münch J. 2020. Cellular Protrusions Engage Viral Infection Enhancing EF-C Peptide Nanofibrils.
Old:
Schütz D, Rode S, Read C, Müller JA, Glocker B, Sparrer K, Fackler O, Walther P, Münch J. 2020. Cellular Protrusions Engage Viral Infection Enhancing EF-C Peptide Nanofibrils. bioRxiv 2020.10.01.321810
This was using the Journal of Virology template.
A quick resolution of this problem will be appreciated. I'm using windows 10(64 bit),
Firefox 96.01
Plugin 5.0.92
Zotero 5.0.96.3

in the Extra field.Someone else (@bwiernik?) may be able to comment on the style issues.
Citing like this, is not acceptable, and correcting them all by hand is not an option.
'Grabowski F, Kochańczyk M, Lipniacki T. 2022. The spread of SARS-CoV-2 variant Omicron with the doubling time of 2.0-3.3 days can be explained by immune evasion.'
Are older versions of the plug in available for download?
Journal of Virology
and I think with that alone the citation would look better. If we then also add the DOI to the citation style for preprints (csl:article), we should be set.
After that, the style will just need to be updated to use the DOI for preprints.
