Zotero error with Google Docs integration

Hi, I've recently been experiencing an issue using Zotero on Google Docs. I receive the error message: "Zotero experienced an error updating your document." ... when attempting to add a citation. This persists even on a new document. It seems I can open up document preferences in Google Docs, however. My local installation of Zotero and I can replicate this error on multiple devices. Other integrations (I tried using Word) work without issue.
