Haven't had a chance to test this on the Air, but switching to English fixes the issue on the Pro (macOS 12.0.1 (21A559)). And yes, it immediately breaks if I switch back to Japanese.

I have the same problem, and my system language is English. One particular thing I noticed is that I do not have
`~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup/Word` folder but
@syncdoth The folder path with '.localized' is correct. See the suggested troubleshooting instructions in this thread. Tell us what you've tried and what happened.

`~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office.localized/User Content.localized/Startup.localized/Word`
instead. Not sure if this would matter though. :(
