restore collection

Hello!
Fate struck. By acident I deleted a large, important collection. It has syncted to online. How can I recover this collection? I would like to go one backup back...

    You could try to restore the collection from one of the last automatic backups.

    This WORKED. Thank you so much. One ore question: I cannot find when and how often Zotero makes a backup. I found only a few backups in the folder with dates far apart.

    By default, it should make two backups, approximately once every 24 hours when your computer is idle, named zotero.sqlite.bak and zotero.sqlite.1.bak.

    (These aren't replacements for proper backups of your entire Zotero data directory, though, which you should have. And really you should just have an automated backup of your entire disk, not just a backup of your Zotero data.)
