Disconnected sync server

Is there a way to set up a private sync server, preferably on an off-line network?

    It is possible to run a version of the Zotero sync server (the code for it is here), but that is fairly technically involved and not officially supported.

    What exactly is your use case here?

    Hi - the use case is to have a group of people work together on a library of files and for security reasons the comments and annotations can't touch the internet. The alternative is paper notebooks and I was looking for ways to improve that :)
