ZOTFILE - Won't move files to specified location, even with rename trick

As per the title. I went through this discussion https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/76181/help-with-zotfile-not-moving-pdfs-to-designated-folder

But even when I try to rename the files they do not get moved. ZotFile is successfully retrieving pdfs and renaming them when I use the firefox connector, but I cannot seem to get it to move documents to a Gdrive sync folder on my desktop.

Any help would be appreciated

    What are your settings in the Zotfile preference window? (Note that it’s not a “trick”—renaming and moving is one process in Zotfile.)

    Source folder is set to downloads (working, zotfile is finding full text pdfs)

    custom location is set to a folder in a Gdrive sync folder.

    In zotero setting I have unchecked everything in the sync window.
    Despite this the pdfs always go into zotero storage, even though they get renamed by zotfile (popup appears)

    Does it make a difference that the library I'm using is a group library?

    Apologies!

    I've sorted it. I didn't realise that I couldn't use zotfile like this for group libraries. In my own library it now works fine.
