How to differentiate extracted annotations?

I'm using Zotfile and Adobe Acrobat Reader. When I highlight annotations, they appear in 1 large note. Is there any way to differentiate these quotes? Some are highlighted as they're interesting, and some I'd like to use as quotes but I don't know how to tell Zotfile they are to be grouped differently.

I did look through the forum and saw mentions of tagging, but have no idea how to do this.

Would this be a solution and, if so, how would I do it. If not, any other ideas?
