Numeric reference style for ERL journal
I am not able to find numeric csl file for Environment Research Letters journal referencing. Can anyone help me?
This is an old discussion that has not been active in a long time. Before commenting here, you should strongly consider starting a new discussion instead. If you think the content of this discussion is still relevant, you can link to it from your new discussion.
Meanwhile, from the author guidelines, you may use either Vancouver numerical system or Harvard alphabetical system for publication in ERL.
"You may use either of these two systems for your references (unless you are submitting to Fluid Dynamics Research, Journal of Geophysics & Engineering, Physics in Medicine and Biology or Physiological Measurement, which require all references to be written using the Harvard alphabetical style), or Nuclear Fusion, which requires all references to be written using the Vancouver numerical system)."
Alternatively you can request a style, mentioning the current "environmental-research-letters.csl" is using "institute-of-physics-harvard.csl" as parent and you would like to get an alternative style referring to Vancouver system.
@adamsmith Should we add another dependent style?

re the dependent style. @adamsmith:
ERL is set as a dependent style for the author-date style.
Just checked papers. 5 out of 6 had the author-date and 1 the numeric style. I suggest we keep it as is.
Please see my comment above.
Yes, a separate ERL style for alphabetical and numeric systems would be really helpful.
