Where is the 'update now' button? I cannot find it in preferences

Preferences -> advanced -> general has and "updated" button. When I deactivate the manual, it gives me error.

IT simply doesn't import and doesn't give me any error to correct it.

Zotero does not import data from browser. I have updated, re-installed and add to the credit, but it doesn't import the files, and it does not give any error message.

Okay, so you are just having an issue with Google Scholar? First, Google Scholar will generally give you very low quality metadata. You should generally follow the links to the publisher webpage or Google Books to get better metadata. Second, can you click the Cite button in Google Scholar (the quote marks below each item), then click BibTeX, does that work? If so, can you please provide a Debug ID from the Zotero browser connector for an attempt to save from Google Scholar that fails? https://zotero.org/support/debug_output
