I'm on Linux Firefox 59.0.2 (64-bit) with Zotero 5.0.43 and Zotero Connector 5.0.35.

It appears to be a conflict with my µMatrix no-script etc. extension. What URLs must I unblock so that Zotero WorldCat works?

you can try whitelisting 127.0.0.1 and/or 127.0.0.1:23119 as indicated in the other thread you link to, but we've had somewhat diffuse reports of uMatrix conflicts with Zotero, so not sure.

I figured it out by using µMatrix's logger. This rule has to be added to µMatrix:
behind-the-scene worldcat.org xhr allow

Zotero translators use a fair number of xhr requests behind the scenes, so you'll see stuff breaking on other sites, too, if uMatrix blocks that -- if you want to keep running it, just please always remember to test any import issues with the add-on disabled before reporting them.
