Installation error Zotero plug in for Libre office

Hi,
My Libre office version is 5-4, Zotero 5, JRE 1.8_161
My installation of the Zotero plug in for Libre Office fails although I tried all the solutions proposed on the Zotero website [https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#installation_error]
After having clicked the Manual Installation button, as it open a folder containing the integration component to be installed within LibreOffice itself, when I Double-click this component to install it, I see this message " an error occured during file opening".
I have tried two or three times reinstalling Libre Office, JRE,
What can I do ?

I am having a similar problem. I am using Linux Mint 18.3 with the pre-installed Libre Office. I can download and install Zotero, but the Libre Office plugin doesn't work. Trying to add it manually leads me to the same Libre Office page where there is nothing to install.

The extension isn't distributed from that webpage. (Where are you even getting that link?)

What else can I do ? Next Thursday, I have to train students to use Zotero 5. The problem is that I can't install the Zotero extension for Libre Office on Zotero 5 so most students use Libre Office and will need the extension for their usual word processing. How to do this? I really need help solving this problem before Thursday.

Thank you so much for the last tips.
I remove C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice and I try again to install extension Zotero on LibreOffice and now it work !
