suggested short-term solution to long tags problem
I don't know whether the 'long tags' syncing-problem will/can be solved soon. So maybe a short-term-solution may be welcome, and I just want to suggest one. What about a script that moves all tags that are longer than 256 signs to the end of the "abstract" field? So all the information would still be there, shorter tags wouldn't be lost anyway, and one would have time to rethink the refinement of the tag structure later. Wouldn't that be a viable short-term solution?
P.S.: No, unfortunately I'm not a programmer, so I don't know how to write something like that by myself...
P.P.S.: Thanks, again, for all the magnificent work on Zotero! It's great!

In fact, right now I find that the easiest way to search within Z is to use Google advanced search and specify zotero.org as the domain. Good returns.
