In particular, we need the exact two references given there (Campbell/Petersen and Mares).
Endnote citation:
John L. Campbell and Ove K. Pederson, 'The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success', Comparative Political Studies 40/3 (2007), pp. 307-332
Isabella Mares, 'Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers?', in P. Hall and D.Soskice (eds), Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage (New York, 2001)

Can you test this out? Also regarding the ibid. https://github.com/POBrien333/styles/raw/8eb5c17bb90181116f1b8b11d558e4e7bf403d02/ib-tauris-note.csl
Let us know what needs changing by explaining it with examples and we get it corrected.
Varieties of capitalism: The institutional foundations of comparative advantageIsabela Mares, ‘Firms and the welfare state: when, why, and how does social policy matter to employers?’, in Peter A. Hall, David Soskice (eds), Varieties of capitalism: The institutional foundations of comparative advantage (New York, 2001).
And for bibliographies it says false...
Any ideas? thanks a million Tom
Re the bibliography:
It doesn't have that defined.
Zotero guys, on the Editor it just just the bibliography formatted like in the citations. Is that then also true when one actually uses the style in a word processor?
The style guide has two styles defined:
- A note style that has, as outlined, a note section at the end of each chapter.
- A "Harvard" (aka Author-date) style that has in-text citations like (Herbert et al. 2001) and a bibliography section at the very end.
The style I just made is the former.
Hope that is OK?
Tom
Will the style be added to the repository for me to share with my fellow contributors?
You can already use the style though. Right click and save on that link. Download the .csl file and a double click should automatically install it in Zotero. Otherwise you can add styles via the menu in Zotero.
Here you go: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:ib-tauris-note
1- page numbers are not coming through in the references. They do if its an Ibid citation but not on the others.
2- when a source is cited for the second time it does not seem to be switching to the short form as indicated in the I.B. Tauris style guide (Surname, 'Title' pp. 2-3). Instead, I just get the full citation (without specific page numbers).
Can these be fixed?
Thanks so very much. Would it be inappropriate to thank Zotero in the acknowledgements section of the book?
Tom
could you test this one?
Right click and save: https://github.com/POBrien333/styles/raw/ad474f4236bad65222720399358d461d169689f5/ib-tauris-note.csl
Adam&Rintze:
CSL/Zotero is able to differentiate if the same citation is directly one after the other (ibid) or further away (subsequent)?
- ibid refers to the same citation with either no or the exact same locator
- ibid-with-locator referst to the same citation with a different locator
- subsequent refers to the same citation with at least one citation or (for note style) any other foonote/endnote between them.
Thanks - problem number one now solved and the page numbers are showing. Great
However, problem number two is still there: on a repeated source I am still getting the long full citation and not the short version.
Thanks
Tom
