Zotero 5: Firefox plugin can't save PDF open in Firefox built-in reader

Firefox has a built-in PDF reader: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox

But if I open a PDF like http://www.rochelleterman.com/ir/sites/default/files/keohane1988.pdf in Firefox:
- the plugin incoreclty detect the PDF has a web page (certainly because Firefox use JS to read pdf)
- if I click the button to save the PDF nothings append.

What connector version? This works for me with the latest version.

The icon is the same as for a webpage at the moment, but it should say "Save to Zotero (PDF)" when you hover over it.

It should save the PDF directly to Zotero (showing the PDF icon in the save popup), and does for me.

Zotero Connector 5.0.0.

It works now.. but It was not before (and I checked the over texte it was "Web page with snapshot) I also tried to reload the page, etc. before posting the bug.

But now I'm not able to reproduce this issue anymore, strange.

It append again with this URL http://www.environmental-research.com/publications/pdf/spill_costs/paper4.pdf

I tried to create a debug ID but nothing is recorded (it's on the browser plugin side I guess). Nothings show up in the browser console. I try to debug the plugin (using the plugin debug console on about:debugging) nothing show up neither.

One of those bugs with no error message and that append randomly :/.

You're aware you can generate debug from the connector, too?

edit: works fine for me with that PDF and the 5.0 connector, too, btw.

Oh thanks, I didn't know that.

So The Debug ID is D886312143 that record the following actions:

- Went on the tab with the PDF open in the build-in PDF reader
- Click on the Zotero Icon
