Getting publications on board

I like using the NYTimes/Zotero icon in the address window when I'm reading an article that I want to add to my bibliography. How wonderful it would be if more online news sources, museums, booksellers, and whateverelse...would incorporate whatever is required to make their web material Zotero-friendly. Is achieving the result a difficult task? If I wanted to request a web publisher, Salon for example, to incorporate the "add to Zotero" icon, what exactly would I say? To whom might I refer them? Would I be asking a lot or would be asking them to tack on something reasonable simple?
