Can it be opened as an application?

now google apps can open Gmail, Docs and Calender in Chrome, firefox can create any webpages to application,the advantage is that it is faster to open these apps, the window is very simple, and they use less CPU and memory than whole web browser. when add references to MS Word, if zotero can be opened in this way, it will be great!!

Except that Zotero isn't a webpage but an extension, and therefore isn't (yet) compatible with Mozilla Prism. From what I've heard an update to Prism will be released soon though, so may want to keep out an eye on that: http://labs.mozilla.com/projects/prism/
