Punctuation when changing styles

Dear Zotero and Users

I've changed between Harvard (Fields) to a style using footnotes. Harvard goes before the fullstop; footnotes after.

How do I make sure the change also changes where the fullstop falls.. so I don't have to go through manually changing each one?

(I haven't ever got to grips with the code).

Thanks!

  • there's unfortunately no way to automate that with Zotero/CSL. It'd probably be possible to write a Word Macro, but I just go through the document manually.
  • Ah..

    It's quite a long doc. ;-)
  • Thanks though!

Can I put this one in the suggestion box???
  • Well, we're aware of this, so there's no need for a feature request, but chances this will happen in any foreseeable future are very slim.
  • I would rank this as a priority for me. One of the advantages of zotero is the ability to toggle between styles, as publications desire. This undermines that advantage a bit.
    Still love zotero though.
