Still slow slow slow and lots of crashing

I noticed to speed and stability improvements and spending some time over in Mendeley. But I still get a lot of freezing "(Not Responding)" that never resolves over 10s of minutes. Then that XUL Runner error, and I have to restart. It's happening on very small tasks, like dragging a reference into a new folder or deleting it. It doesn't always happen, which makes it almost more annoying.

OS: Windows 7, 64 bit
Machine: 4GB ram, Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHZ
Z: Standalone
Library size: 3.2 GB

I have the tag selector turned off b/c I saw that's a problem in some posts. I also have autosync off.

What else can I do to stabilize the performance. This is pretty irritating, and makes it hard to commit to Zotero.

What matters in terms of library size is mostly the total number of items: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/item_count

Beyond that, this doesn't sound normal, though. Unless you can provide regular debug for something that freezes (and then unfreezes), try providing real-time debug: https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output#real-time_debug_output

Thanks. If it continues I'll run debug logging and send it. I'm cleaning up items, so maybe that will help.
