Pasting citation info

Is there a way for Zotero to import, either via paste or from the clipboard, a fully-formed citation? Most of the DB that the kids use have a full citation at the bottom, but Zotero doesn't recognize the page. Their current workflow involves pasting the citation into NoodleTools, which apparently works. If I can duplicate that ease for them, we can move over to Zotero.
